Dan Morrissey, Residential Life and Safety

Dan Morrissey is currently the Dean of Students at Phillips Exeter Academy, in Exeter NH; prior to that, Dan was the Dean of Residential Life at Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN.

In an independent school career spanning nearly a quarter of a century, Dan has taught Physical Education, Health, Freshman Humanities, and Anatomy and Physiology. Dan was named teacher of the year in New Hampshire in 2004. Dan is a frequent presenter at TABS and has written for The Head’s Newsletter and Reason and Risk, the United Educators newsletter. He is currently working on a book on how schools can strengthen their advising curriculums to be published through Avocus Publishing.
