Annabel Smith, Global and Community Education

Annabel specializes in global, community and character education. She works with schools to design and create experiential and academic programs, combining community interaction (learning and service) with curricular development. She is a passionate advocate of the transformative power of reality and relationships, and believes that we should be teaching all our young people about the urgent issues of the day. Widely traveled herself, she has led hundreds of young people on learning journeys both in their own neighbourhoods and across the world.

With over 20 years experience, she has developed innovative, signature approaches which lead to sustained engagement and tangible change. As well as designing curriculum, she also leads workshops, facilitates continuing professional development and helps schools create portfolios of community partners.

Educated at the London School of Economics and Oxford University Annabel combines academic rigor with years of experience on the ground with community leaders in the UK, US, India and on the African continent.
